Zahra is a Saudi Visual Artist.

ABOUT ME

Zahra's practice lies at the intersection of art and Human themes, conditions and lived experiences. Working primarily with documentary photography while incorporating experimental approaches, including analogue processes, printing, collage, and text.

She explores memory, identity, and the subtle traces of heritage and culture embedded in people and place. Through her images, she considers how personal histories become collective, revealing quiet narratives that speak to who we are, where we come from, and where we belong.

Her background in healthcare, supported by a master’s degree in respiratory care, has shaped her perspective, rooted in empathy, attentiveness, and presence. These qualities guide her image-making and the ways she listens, observes, and engage with others.

She studied photography at the Misk Art Institute in partnership with UCLA.
Her work has been exhibited both locally and internationally.
